Microsoft Outlook Express
Setup Instructions
Step 1:

Click "Tools" and then "Accounts..."
Step 2:

Click the "Mail" tab in the top left corner of the windows, then click on
"Add" and then "Mail..."
Step 3:

Enter your name (or anything you like) in the box and then click "Next"
Step 4:

Enter your Email address (example: yourname@Westcombroadband.com) in the
box and then click "Next"
Step 5:

Enter mail.westcombroadband.com in both the
"Incoming Mail" box and the "Outgoing Mail" box.
Step 6:

Enter the user name (example yourname@westcombroadband.com) in the "Account
Name" box, then enter the password for this user name (as listed on your
Service Agreement) in the "Password" box. If you want Outlook Express to
remember your password for you (recommended) check "Remember password",
and then click "Next".
Step 7:

Click "Finish" to complete the process.
Step 8:

If you are setting this up on a computer within our network Click "Close"
and your account is set-up.
From outside the Westcom Broadband network only you will need to add the following steps:
Select the "Properties" Button on the right then select the "Servers" Tab on the top of the window.
Place a check mark in the box that says
"My server requires authentication"
You will find this in the section labeled "Outgoing Mail Server"
Click on "Apply" then "Ok" then "Close"
Step 9:

Finally click "Send/Recv" to test your new Email account, and see if you receive
any error messages or new mail.
